Although, to some, not having a car in college may seem worrisome, it is possible to thrive here without one. Ped’s Declassified will give you the ins and outs of getting around in San Luis Obispo, California, without relying on private transportation. This survival guide will delve into the surprising benefits and essentials of not having a car in college, and address some problems that pedestrians may face.

Even if you do have a car, this blog will help expand your horizons and maybe challenge you to close your garage door and open yourself up to new possibilities.

Of course, no blog would be complete without a little inspiration. Content wise, this blog will be similar to Getting Along Without a Car in College in providing different and out-of-the-box ideas of how to get around town and Living Without a Car to touch on some of the benefits of a car free lifestyle.

The theme of this blog, Argent, was inspired by the blog, Francesca Ricapito. The unique writing style and tone is something this blog will strive to proude, Bits of Creativity. The use of powerful images and captions to highlight s story, similar to the student blog Coffee Grounds in SLO will be emulated within Ped’s Declassified.

Enjoy!

I agree, I didn’t have a car in medical school and somehow I survived! In fact, I’m in residency training right now, and my girlfriend uses the car almost all the time. So, I’m stuck to either walking or biking to work. (It does help that i spend 12 hours a day at the hospital though)
